Study of Modification of PP by Blending with PA6 and Nano-meter CaCO3

　　PP was modified by means of blending with nylon 6 (PA6) and

nano2meter CaCO3. The effects of the contents of PA6 and nano-

meter CaCO3 on the mechanical properties of the modified PP ,

as well as the effects of the compatibilizers PP-g-MAH and POE-

g-MAH on the system , were studied.The results showed the best

proportioning of the system was that PP/ PA/ CaCO3/ POE-g-

MAH = 100/ 14/ 12/ 25 , and the impact strength of the modified

PP was 780 % of that of pure PP , while the bending strength and

tensile strength decreased a little.
