Research on Crystallization Behaviors of Surface-Modified Poly(ethylene terephthalate) Fibers

After the PET fibers were surface-modified, a new crystallization peak emerged in the DSC heating curves of PET fibers. Compared with those of normal PET fibers, the crystallization peaks of surface-modified PET fibers were shifted to lower temperature. It may be during the surface modification, the solution induced the part crystallization, and thus the crystallization of surface-modified PET fibers happened earlier.
