6月15日應(yīng)Mario Gauthier教授的邀請(qǐng)?jiān)L問Waterloo University化學(xué)系，并作了“Controllable Bio-fabrication based on Microbes: From Microbes to Functional Materials”的邀請(qǐng)報(bào)告。同時(shí)與Jean Duhamel, Mónica Barra，Shirley Tang，Juewen Liu等教授進(jìn)行了討論和學(xué)術(shù)交流。
