Recently, internationally renowned scientists Professor Adi Eisenberg, invited by professor Yang Guang, visited Huazhong University of Science and Technology the third time, and gave three excellent academic reports (1. Introduction to block copolymer; 2. Block copolymer vesicles; 3. Controlled localization of quantum-dots into block copolymer aggregates and of different morphologies) on October 18th , 19th , 20th .
In the reports, professor Adi Eisenberg introduced the research of amphiphilic block copolymers’ aggregation state, mainly about the application of block copolymer vesicles and micelles in drug delivery. His excellent reports let the students not only have in-depth understanding of research in this field, and feel the style of international scholar.
Adi Eisenberg is recognized internationally as one of the greatest physical polymer chemists and a pioneer in the important field of ion-containing polymers. His ingenious approach has provided insightful knowledge to various aspects of polymer science, in particular to the morphology and mechanical properties of ionomers of various architectures and polymer blends with ionomers.
October 2007, professor Adi Eisenberg signed a three-year cooperation agreement with professor Yang Guang, and this year the two sides renewed this cooperation agreement. on October 17th, professor Adi Eisenberg, together with proessor Yang’ team members , went to the Karan Creek Hot Springs, exchanged study of life, research experience, etc.
