Prof. Yang was invited to attend the 15th Asian Chemical Conference and BAMN 2013 Conference
On August 19, 2013 , Prof. Yang was invited to Singapore to attend the 15th Asian Chemical Conference and make an invited lecture "Controllable Manipulation and Assembly of Living Microbe: From Microbes to Functional Materials. "Furthermore, Prof. Yang made further academic talks with conventioners.
August 25, 2013 , after attending the ACC conference, Prof. Yang and PhD candidate Li Ying went to the Jeju Island, Korea to participate in BAMN 2013( The Seventh Bionic , Artificial Muscles , and the International Conference on Nano- Biology ) .During the conference, Prof. Yang gave an invited lecture "Nano Cellulose Intelligent Responsive Hydrogels." 
Li Ying gave a lecture on Bacterial cellulose / hyaluronic acid nano-composites as a potential biomedical material for wound dressing, and was award the "Best Paper Award" and $ 200 as bonus by the conference organizing committee.
After the conference, on September 2nd , with the invitation from Prof. Kim , Prof. Yang Guang made a visit to Kim ''''''''s lab, Seoul, South Korea , and gave an invited lecture on Bacterial Cellulose - A Versatille Nano-medical Functional Materials, and made a further academic exchange with Prof. Kim.
