The Research Group Attended the Twelfth National Conference on Environmental Microbiology
From November 27 to 30, 2009, the Twelfth National Conference on Environmental Microbiology was grandly held at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and the major theme of this conference is "Environment Microbiology and human health". As more than 500 delegates from 27 provinces, cities, autonomous regions and representatives from Hong Kong and the United States gathered together in Wuhan, Academician Daoxian Yuan, chairman of IRCK in UNESCO and Academician Wenxin Chen from China Agriculture University, as well as Academician Zixin Deng from Shanghai Jiao Tong University also attended the conference and gave Plenary Lectures. The conference received a total of 296 papers and abstracts, 70 posters.

Professor Yang’s research group contributed a lot to the preparation and organization of the conference. Besides, Professor Yang and her students Xudian Shi, Lina Fu, Zhijun Shi, Kun Liu were aslo actively involved in the conference, and they gave oral presentations respectively as follows:

Xudian Shi, Lina Fu, Zhijun Shi, Lin Huang, Kun Liu, Shanshan Zang respectively gave POSRER exhibitions on their own research work, in which Mr. Xudian Shi, Mr. Zhijun Shi were awarded the second prize of excellent POSRER, while Miss Lina Fu was the third prize winner of excellent POSRER
