The 2nd International Symposium Frontiers in Polymer Science was held in Lyon, France from May 29 to May 31, 2011. PhD.candidate Lin Xiao was invited to give the poster presentation " High performance biobased composites from poly (lactic acid) and microcrystalline cellulose ". This symposium was a scientifically inspiring meeting, attracting about 600 participants from 54 countries. 15 top-level plenary speakers from three continents covered the spectrum of modern fundamental polymer science. 480 posters were selected to be presented in three sessions.
