Jeffrey R. Reimers教授訪問華中科技大學生命學院
2013年10月31日，Jeffrey R. Reimers教授在楊光教授的邀請下，訪問了華中科技大學生命學院，交流學術，并且做了題為“Branched Polymers: advances in synthesis, structure andUnderstanding the role of the primary charge donor during solar-energy conversion in purple bacteria, excition transport in photosystem I,and the spectroscopy of the schlorophylls”的報告。
Jeffrey R. Reimers教授是澳大利亞悉尼大學化學院的教授、澳大利亞科學院院士。Jeffrey R. Reimers教授的研究領域包括電子器件、光合作用、光伏電池、分子電子學、化學光譜、溶劑化效應、電吸收光譜、和電子結(jié)構(gòu)的計算方法等等。Jeffrey R. Reimers教授于1979年和1983年獲得澳大利亞國立大學學士和博士學位，1983-1985年在美國加利福利亞大學博士后。Jeffrey R. Reimers教授于2007年被聘為悉尼大學教授。Jeffrey R. Reimers教授于2010年當選澳大利亞科學院院士，現(xiàn)同時也是澳大利亞皇家化學會會員，在國際期刊發(fā)表論文150余篇。
