Our team visited Sichuan Yuanxing Rubber Co., Ltd. and jointly advanced the research and development of green manufacturing technology as well as its industrial application.
On the morning of 27 August 2025, the research team visited Sichuan Yuanxing Rubber Co., Ltd. to conduct an on-site inspection of the operational status of China''s first domestically developed ‘supercritical carbon dioxide multi-stage screw extrusion sulphur-breaking regeneration technology equipment’ at Yuanxing. This exchange activity aimed to advance industry-academia-research collaboration and promote innovation and application in green recycling and regenerative manufacturing technologies for polymer materials. Accompanied by Mr Yang Dezhi, General Manager of Yuanxing''s Recycled Rubber Division, and Mr Tao Jun, Chairman of Youxin, the team conducted an in-depth tour of the production workshop to meticulously observe the equipment''s operational performance. Both executives provided detailed on-site explanations of the innovative system''s operational principles, technical advantages, and actual production data across all stages, alongside comprehensive insights into its energy-saving, emission-reduction capabilities and resource recycling performance. All parties engaged in a lively discussion on the technical challenges, innovative features, and future optimisation directions of the equipment. Preliminary discussions were also held on further advancing industry-academia-research collaboration and expanding the technological application scenarios. This visit not only showcased China''s technological breakthroughs in rubber recycling equipment but also laid a solid foundation for deeper cooperation between universities and enterprises. All parties expressed their commitment to strengthening communication and collaboration, jointly advancing the research, development, and industrial application of green manufacturing technologies, thereby contributing scientific and technological strength towards achieving the ‘dual carbon’ goals.
