Academic activities in Japan
On August 27, I have visited Prof. Kenji Sugiyama’s research group at HoseiUniversityand given a presentation on “Precise synthesis of multicomponent star-branched and graft copolymers”. As my host professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology, Prof. Takashi Ishizone invited me to introduce my latest research on “Synthesis and properties of well-defined star and graft copolymers” on August 29. During September 5 and 6, I have visited Yamagata University (Yonezawa campus) and given a talk on “Synthesis and properties of well-defined multicomponent star and graft copolymers by “l(fā)iving”/controlled polymerization”, and I was very honored to make discussions with some professors including Hideharu Mori, Tomoya Higashihara, Shingo Kobayashi, Seigou Kawaguchi, Atsushi Narumi and Bungo Ochiai. In addition, I also attended the annual congress held by the Society of Polymer Science, Japan at Kanazawa University during September 11 and 13, 2013.
