NingboTech University established the Institute of Fire Safety Materials
On April 3, 2023, NingboTech University issued a document to establish the Institute of Fire Safety Materials, with Prof. Li Juan as the director and Prof. Guo Zhenghong and Yang Yong as the deputy directors. The predecessor of the institute was the advanced flame retardant polymer materials research group led by Professor Fang Zhengping. The main research areas include: (1) the flame retardant mechanism of high-performance polymer materials; (2) Synthesis and application of high-efficient/eco-friendly flame retardants; (3) Performance-function integration of Polymer materials; (4) Interfacial compatibilization-flame retarding polymer materials.
