Yulong Liu is currently associate professor at Northeast Normal University, China. Before
working in Northeast Normal University, he was a postdoctoral fellow in Prof.
Xueliang (Andy) Sun’ Nanomaterials and Energy Group at the University of
Western Ontario, Canada. He received his Bachelor degree from Central South
University, China, in 2010, and Master degree in 2013. In 2017, he obtained his
Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from University of Western
Ontario. His research interests include nanomaterials for lithium ion
batteries, especially LiFePO4 (in collaboration with Johnson Matthey Inc., previous Phostech),
and the development of the high energy density solid-state batteries with
GLABAT Solid State Battery Inc.
