Prof. Guiwu Lu is the academic leader of Physics in College of Science, China University of Petroleum (Beijing). He has a strong scientific interest in surface and interface of reservoir rocks, asphaltene and scaling inhibitors, methane hydrate and CO2 flooding, functional crystal growth and design. Prof. Lu has published more than 150 papers in journals like Fuel, Energy&Fuels, and Petroleum Science, which have been cited more than 5000 times. He has also obtained 76 patents and accomplished more than 20 provincial and ministerial-level projects. His research group is an interdisciplinary research team, in cooperation with chemist and engineering colleagues, on campus and abroad, with a reputation for delivering high-quality, innovative research.
