RESEARCH INTERESTS
1) Electrochemical energy storage and conversion materials toward PEM fuel cells (i.e., polymer stabilized Pt based catalyst, long lifetime Pt based catalysts as well as low cost non-Pt catalysts for oxygen reduction reaction), lithium ion batteries, Zn-air batteries, and hydrogen production.
2) Graphene materials including biomass derived graphene, amorphous/2D carbide derived graphene, and engineered graphene, and their applications.
