Tian Wei, born in October, 1982, Ph. D., Professor, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Northwestern Polytechnical University, majoring in cation-π chemistry and non-covalent polymer synthesis. He was awarded talent projects and plans such as National Natural Science Youth Science Fund Project (Class A)[Original National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars], Youth Science Fund Project (Class B)[Original Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars](concluded as Excellent), Ministry of Education "Excellent Talents in the New Century" Support Plan, Shaanxi Province Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars Project, and the head of science and technology innovation team of Shaanxi Province. In the past five years, he has published many high-level papers in Nat.Synth.,J.Am.Chem.Soc.,Chem,Angew.Chem.Int.Ed.,Nat.Commun. and other top journals in the field. Up to now, he has presided over 7 projects of National Natural Science Foundation and 1 key project of national basic research field. He has won 1 second prize of Science and Technology Award for Colleges and Universities of Ministry of Education, 1 second prize of Natural Science Award of Shaanxi Province, 1 special prize of Excellent Achievement Award for Scientific and Technological Research of Shaanxi Colleges and Universities, and winner of Shaanxi Youth Science and Technology Model/Youth Science and Technology Award.
