Research interest:
1． Polymer crystallization, focusing on mechanism of lamellar twisting in the banded spherulites, characterization of semi-crystalline polymers via novel optical techniques and microscopic mechanism of crystallization.
2． Structure-properties of the biodegradable polymers, including microbial polyesters and chemically synthesized polymers, such PLA and PBS.
3． Rheology of polymer nanocomposites, which will deepen our understanding of the peculiar properties from the molecular level.
4． Smart polymer materials, such as adaptive materials.
